I support the team in bringing out its best as we fulfill our commitment to the client.

ENGINEERING SYSTEM

I see an app as a large mechanism that must be sustainable and well designed to last and perform at its best.

My work spans interfaces, services, data, delivery, and devices. I am responsible for designing an architecture that handles each part well and keeps the team aligned with the business logic we want to deliver to the client.

  • Interfaces

Accessible interfaces for real-time workflows, internationalization, and performance-sensitive products.

    Angular · React · Astro · TypeScript · HTML · CSS

  • Services

Service boundaries, authentication, integrations, and calm production troubleshooting.

    Go · Node.js · NestJS · .NET · Spring Boot · GraphQL

  • Data

Relational and document models driven by business rules, access patterns, and future change.

    PostgreSQL · MySQL · MongoDB · CouchDB · SQL

  • Delivery

Repeatable delivery across environments, observable services, and infrastructure automated with Terraform.

    Docker · Kubernetes · AWS · Terraform · Tekton · Jenkins

  • Machines

Monitoring systems, MQTT platforms, and electronic devices that connect software to physical events.

    MQTT · Arduino · Electronics · IoT

SELECTED OUTCOMES

Production problems I helped solve.

Client names and internal architecture stay private. Each record shows the problem, my responsibility, and the approved outcome.

HYBRID POINT-OF-SALE / TEAM DELIVERY

Stabilizing a performance-sensitive point of sale

40%application performance improvement

Challenge
The application could freeze because its internal memory architecture did not hold up under real use.
Contribution
I helped lead the diagnosis and implementation with frontend, backend, database, and DevOps specialists under a tight delivery window.
Outcome
The team improved application performance by 40% and significantly reduced error and maintenance reports.

REAL-TIME PIPELINES / INTERFACE REFACTOR

Making live pipeline activity easier to operate

Challenge
The dashboard made process state difficult to read and control while executions were changing in real time.
Contribution
I helped rethink the interaction model and refactor the interface around clearer process states and operator decisions.
Outcome
The new experience improved process legibility and reduced customer complaints about the interface.

INTERNATIONALIZATION / INTERNAL TOOLING

Turning localization into a repeatable workflow

Challenge
An English-only application needed to support more languages without turning translation work into a manual bottleneck.
Contribution
I implemented the localization foundation and built validation and identifier-generation tooling for the development workflow.
Outcome
The localized release was delivered on schedule with a faster, more consistent implementation process.

OPERATING HISTORY

I started in infrastructure and support. Now I lead systems architecture.

My work has moved through production systems, cloud engineering, application development, and technical leadership.

LEADERSHIP METHOD

I lead from inside the work.

I have coordinated teams of four, balancing delivery with code review, mentoring, documentation, and technical debt. I stay involved in the work and accountable for the outcome.

CONTINUOUS CALIBRATION

Current study: Python, machine learning, and agents.

My self-directed learning has shaped how I work as much as formal study. I am currently exploring Python, machine learning, and agent integration, including an inventory-monitoring experiment that combines AI with a camera.

FROM NEED TO DELIVERY
  1. Product need

Define the problem and the intended result.

  2. System
    Interface
    How people use it.
    Services
    Rules and integrations.
    Data
What the system stores and retrieves.
  3. Delivery

A working result the team can maintain.

THE ORIGIN OF ENGINEER KENNETH

Before I wrote code, I took machines apart.

I grew up in a rural area with limited internet access. My father, who worked at a hydroelectric plant, taught me about electricity. I took apart a radio-controlled car to understand how it received instructions, then built small hydroelectric systems, conveyor belts, and cranes. Today I still picture complex software as a modular factory: every part needs a clear purpose and a reliable connection.

Be transparent about what the system should actually do. Test assumptions and build what delivers real value.
